It's not what you think, but some rather cool (and bizarrely presented) japanese kitchen technique. I can recommend watching the gyoza, the shabushabu, the chawanmushi and, most interestingly, the japanese take on spaghetti 'napolitan'. Rivetting watching, and they're still coming out!
